Cspservices has entered into a license agreement for hydrogen mitigation technology that was developed by the renowned U.S. Department of Energy’s NREL:
The system uses a palladium alloy membrane to separate and isolate hydrogen, which is then transferred via vacuum pumps into a catalytic oxidizer to be discharged as water vapor. A full-scale system was implemented at the Nevada Solar One power plant and has been operating successfully in 2022. In addition to removing hydrogen, the system includes inline, real-time measurements of hydrogen partial pressures.
