Aalborg CSP has once again been included among the CSP Today Award finalists. This year, the company is shortlisted within the “Industry Choice Award” category that is granted to companies that are actively involved in promoting the concentrated solar power (CSP) technology and whose work has a positive impact on the development of the CSP industry.

As a company that is dedicated to changing the way energy is produced today, Aalborg CSP continuously pursues new applications for CSP and unlocks the black-box to create projects in areas where otherwise it would not be possible. As a testament to this, the company has brought the technology to new geographical locations (eg: Denmark) and to a variety of industries (eg: tomato farm in the Australian desert) proving that CSP can be a competitive renewable energy source.

This “Industry Choice Award” is not the first recognition the company is shortlisted for by CSP Today. In 2013, the company won the “CSP Today India best Technology and Supplier Award” for the SGS3 steam generator technology, followed by the “Indiasol Award 2014” for having excelled in India’s concentrated solar power industry. The same year, Aalborg CSP brought home the International “CSP Technology Innovation Award 2014” in recognition of the company’s technology optimization results for the SGS3 steam generation technology.

The winner of the CSP Today “Industry Choice Award” will be announced as part of the CSP Today 2016 conference, hosted on 9-10 November in Seville (Spain). The award giving ceremony is held on the first day of the conference, on 9 November.
