As CSP Focus reported earlier at the end of last month, CGN Delingha 50MW parabolic trough concentrated solar power (CSP) plant, China first large-scale commercial CSP project, was successfully connected to the grid in the evening of June 30.
The success of this project is absolutely a great milestone for China CSP industry, which entitled China the 8th country in the world owning large-scale commercial CSP project.
The project officially broke ground in July 2014, and selected as one of China 1st Batch of CSP pilot projects in September 2016. The project is progressed much faster than other pilot CSP ones.
