China, the contracts for core equipment and Supervision of CPECC Hami 50MW molten salt tower CSP demonstration project are officially signed. CSPPLAZA correspondent learned that the signed contract is a package, including contracts of concentrating solar system, steam generator, turbine island, generator set and supervision.
According to Dongfang Electric Corporation’s (hereby referred to as DEC) announcement, the signing ceremony was attended by Feng jingfu, vice manager from CPECC, Zhu yuanchao, vice manager from DEC, Tang yong, manager from Dongfang Boiler Group Co., Ltd. and so on. Shi chongguang, manager from CPECC presided at the ceremony.
In the light of earlier reports from CSPPLAZA, the bid evaluation for procurement of steam turbine, steam generator and generator was unveiled on February 24th. The first condidates of steam turbine and steam generator bidding are Dongfang Turbine CO., Led. (DEC) and Dongfang Boiler Group Co., Ltd. (DEC) respectively. Shandong Jinan Power Equipment Factory Co., Ltd generator is the first candidate of generator biding.
On July 13th, CPECC announced its project supervision bidder. According to the announcement, Hubei Zhongnan Power Engineering Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. won the bid for this project.
On August 18th, the tender notice of the concentrating solar system (solar field) of the project was officially announced. Dongfang Boiler Group Co., Ltd. (DEC) is the first candidate.
The signing event means that once the procurement part has been confirmed, Hami 50MW project’s construction is expected to start as soon as possible. Winning the bidding in 3 parts of the project, DEC has become the big winner.
In the end of the signing ceremony, all parts concerned with the project expressed their commitments that the Hami CSP project will be constructed with high standard and finally becomes the model in CSP industry.
