Last week, CSP Focus initiated a vote for “The hottest solar CSP projects globally in 2017”. The vote was launched separately in China and international markets. We received enthusiastic responses from over 200 CSP insiders. And the results are shown as below:

International CSP peers focused a lot on:

【Dubai】DEWA 700MW 1xTower & 3x Parabolic Trough Project (16.88%)
【Australia】Aurora 150MW Molten Salt Tower Project (12.99%)
【Israel】Ashalim Plot A 110MW Parabolic Trough & Plot B 121MW Tower Project (10.39%)
【Chile】Cerro Dominador 110MW Molten Salt Tower Project (9.09%)

Similarly, China CSP industry peers also voted for the well-known CSP projects like DEWA, NOOR, Aurora and Ashalim.

With a lot of Chinese elements and won by a consortium of ACWA Power and Shanghai Electric, DEWA 700MW 1xTower & 3x Parabolic Trough Project was at the top of the list. The 2nd ranked NOOR CSP projects are also joined by Chinese companies including SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. and Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd.

Shouhang Dunhuang 100MW Molten Salt Trough Project (11.59%)
Yumen Xinneng 50MW Molten Salt Tower Project (10.14%)

CGN Delingha 50MW Parabolic Trough Project tied for the fourth place with Shouhang Dunhuang 100MW Molten Salt Trough Project.
