On February 28, Rayspower Energy Group Co., Ltd. published the bidding announcement, showing that Rayspower Yumen 50MW parabolic trough CSP project opens bid for EPC contractor of thermal storage island, and the bid deadline is set at March 31, 2017.
The bidding announcement shows that this procurement includes heat transfer oil system, steam generation system, molten salt thermal storage system and the matched supporting engineering system, as well as the training on operation and maintenance staffs.
On the aspect of bidder qualification, this project will accept a joint bidding. Once the bidder is a consortium, there should be a lead, and either party in this consortium should not participate in any other consortium bidding. There should not be more than 2 companies in the consortium.
This project is one of China ‘s first 20 CSP demonstration projects. The project is located in Yumen Gansu, covering an area of 3.5km2. Project feasibility study was finished on November 18, 2016. And the project formally started construction on November 26, 2016.
