Rioglass Solar Inc. is planning a job fair in Surprise to help fill positions for its mirror manufacturing plant. The fair will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. June 1 at the Surprise Civic Center, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza, Phoenix.
The Spanish company, which is building a solar mirror manufacturing facility with plans to supply concentrated solar power plant construction in the Southwest, is hiring positions for office support including an accountant and information technology manager to production, sales and logistics.
The company did not say how many positions it was hiring for, but its total employment is expected to be about 100.
Information at the job fair will include a short presentation about Rioglass as well as the opportunity to meet with recruiters. Attendees are encouraged to bring their resume and a cover letter or submit them to careersusa@rioglass.com.
