At present, Abengoa US is engaged in various landmark projects in the country, including Solana, the world’s largest solar plant using parabolic-trough solar-thermal technology.
More than 2000 workers are onsite to construct the concentrating solar power plant that will be one of the largest in the world.
The company is ranked third, after the Spanish Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and the University of Seville, for the number of international patent applications.
