SENER, an international engineering and technology group, was present in the first foundation stone ceremony of the concentrating solar thermal plant in Ouarzazate (Morocco).

The CSP project is expected to start commercial operations in the second half of 2015, Paddy Padmanathan, president and chief executive officer of ACWA Power, said in a statement.
