Godawari Power (GODPI) & Ispat Ltd.’s concentrated solar power (CSP) plant, Asia’s biggest, is generating more power than expected, allaying criticism that the technology was failing in India, a government official said.

Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company has decided to set-up the 50 MW concentrated solar energy project.
The aforesaid concentrated solar energy project was under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) administered by NTPC Vidyut Vyapaar Nigam (NVVN).
