Cogenra Solar executive team will address new technology and trends in the growing solar cogeneration industry.

Leaders of the Cogenra Solar executive team will address new technology and trends in the growing solar cogeneration industry at upcoming industry events including the 2011 American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) Hot Water Forum and the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) Dairy Sustainability Symposium.

Executives will use the company’s flagship installation at Sonoma Wine Company in Graton, California as a supporting case study to demonstrate the tremendous cost and greenhouse gas savings of its innovative solar cogeneration solution, which has earned the company recognition such as the Climate Changes Business Journal (CCBJ) Business Achievement Award and being listed among Gartner’s 2011 “Cool Vendors in Solar.”

      2011 ACEEE Hot Water Forum

WHO: Dr. Gilad Almogy, Chief Executive Officer, Cogenra Solar

WHAT: Dr. Almogy will be speaking on “Solar Thermal Emerging Technologies” in the “Generating Hot Water” track #3B at 10:30am on May 11th. His session will showcase innovative solar thermal technologies from three leading manufacturers.

The Hot Water Forum is the premier technical conference dedicated to evaluating the three fundamentals of the efficient hot water system: heating water, distributing it with low losses, and using it with efficient fixtures and practices.

WHERE: Doubletree Hotel & Executive Meeting Center in Berkeley, CA

WHEN: May 11, 2011 at 10:30am – 12:00pm

IDFA Dairy Sustainability Symposium

WHO: Preston Roper, Chief Marketing Officer, Cogenra Solar

WHAT: Mr. Roper will be speaking on “New Technologies” on day two of the conference at 10:20am on Thursday, May 26th. The session will focus on the capabilities of solar cogeneration to displace traditional fossil fuel usage in dairy production such as clean-in-place (CIP), pasteurization and fermentation as the dairy industry pursues its goal of reducing Co2 emissions by 25%. Mr. Roper will explain how Cogenra Solar is reducing the costs of electricity and heat with a new distributed solar cogeneration system that combines photovoltaic and hot water collection to deliver low-cost electricity and heat generation for commercial, industrial and institutional customers.

The Dairy Sustainability Symposium is designed to help attendees understand sustainability and target ways to decrease carbon footprints while increasing efficiency. It will provide the latest and greatest sustainability information in the dairy industry, including process innovation, cogeneration or “combined heat and power” and renewable energy.

WHERE: James Hotel in Chicago, IL

WHEN: May 26, 2011 at 10:20am – 11:20am
