Concentrated solar power add new power in China
On August 7, Xigaze Finance Bureau issued the Ecological Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Ecological Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China was adopted at the Second session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China on April 26,2023 and will come into force on September 1,2023. Promote sustainable economic and social development,realize the harmonious coexistence between man and nature,formulated laws.
The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Ecological Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China consists of seven chapters, including general provisions,ecological security layout,ecological protection and restoration,ecological risk prevention and control,guarantee and supervision, legal liability and supplementary provisions.
According to Article 45 of Chapter V Guarantee and Supervision,the state supports the construction of an energy system on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with wind power, photovoltaic power generation, hydropower, hydro-wind complementary power generation, solar thermal, geothermal and other clean energy as the main body in light of local conditions,strengthens the construction of clean energy transmission channels,and promotes green and low-carbon energy transformation.
